In Bangalore...
My first month in Bengaluru.

I have moved to bangalore to work for Oracle. The guest house(pic) Oracle provided was too good with delicious food.

Thats the good part.....

Following are the bad things from my perspective.

This city is supposed to be a city of international standards. There are only a few things that make this place international..Software companies, hitech buses and girls ;).

But,

I felt like an uneducated village guy trying to make a living in Bangalore. Except for Hitech Vajra buses, which have LED scrolling display, none of the public transport or place is written in English. Everything is kannada. I dont know how lakhs of software professionals, who are usually from other parts of India live in this city.

Because of the language problem and because I Usually board a bus that does not directly go to where I want , I had to walk for a long distances at times.

If any bangalore govt. official happens to see this post, I will probably be summoned to give clarification for writing bengaluru in English.

Accomodation - I started to look for a comfortable accomodation and I approached some paying guests for Rs.4000/-. I was showed 5 cots under the staircase and places like that with a common bathroom and toilet.. It was like a badly maintained browsing center in India with temporary separators. Then I decided not to go for PGs. PGs installed the insecure feeling in me.

Now I am staying some what comfortable with one of my college junior in a residential house in Madiwala.
