Girls, To IMPRESS a MAN
JUST SMILE ONCE AND HE'S YOURS ------------------------------ ....true, if the smile is beautiful.. ;-)
on 12th night, I was watching cable TV. Suddenly cable was disconnected and the screen was all blue. I took my mobile and saw the date was 13(I dont like this number, superstitious), the time showed 00:00. I switched of the tv and went to bathroom..when I was about to wash my hands, I heard a loud bang, like banging a metal pillar with a rod. That second, my heart was out of me...then every 5 seconds it started banging....initially i thought it might be some thief who is trying to do something. Then slowly peeped out thru the eye hol. It was complete dark outside..The banging was continuing..I was really surprised why no one was coming out of their flats..I opened the door and came out(Appreciate my courage). Whole verandah was dark, except 2 lights that were flickering on the two ends of the verandah with no lights in between(all ghostly tings came to my mind)..I went near the lift and saw the lift door opening and closing with a bang(Finished, I have seen this thing in many horror movies). It was the reason for the bang..It was like experiencing a horror movie where I was playing a victim...I dont believe in ghost, but that second I thought if there was some ghost inside the lift..the lift number was also flickering.....Then the oppsosite flat person came out..I told him to call the security and ask why the lift door is banging...he called and the security told that there is no current in the apartment...OMG(not GOD, GHOST :-p ). Imagine, how I would have felt!!!!! Power was there in our flat and the opposite flat...Eppadi irunthirukum enaku nenachu paarunga...then my opposite flat person told that there is some power fluctuation.....only then I gained some calm and silently went into the flat switched on the light, FM , Fan and went to the bed....Then the lift's power was cut by the security and the bang stopped...I was not terrified and all, but still had a strange feeling... can't explain....Aaana Naan bayapadvae illa theriuma,...Enna adutha naal night 12 nerungum bothu light'a bayama irunthuchu....
I have moved to bangalore to work for Oracle. The guest house(pic) Oracle provided was too good with delicious food.
Thats the good part.....
Following are the bad things from my perspective.
This city is supposed to be a city of international standards. There are only a few things that make this place international..Software companies, hitech buses and girls ;).
But,
I felt like an uneducated village guy trying to make a living in Bangalore. Except for Hitech Vajra buses, which have LED scrolling display, none of the public transport or place is written in English. Everything is kannada. I dont know how lakhs of software professionals, who are usually from other parts of India live in this city.
Because of the language problem and because I Usually board a bus that does not directly go to where I want , I had to walk for a long distances at times.
If any bangalore govt. official happens to see this post, I will probably be summoned to give clarification for writing bengaluru in English.
Accomodation - I started to look for a comfortable accomodation and I approached some paying guests for Rs.4000/-. I was showed 5 cots under the staircase and places like that with a common bathroom and toilet.. It was like a badly maintained browsing center in India with temporary separators. Then I decided not to go for PGs. PGs installed the insecure feeling in me.
Now I am staying some what comfortable with one of my college junior in a residential house in Madiwala.
